1. Turn Off the "Viewed" Display

If you dislike letting others know when you’ve read their messages, you can easily disable the "Viewed" feature:

  1. Log into your Zalo account.
  2. Go to the Add section (two dots at the bottom right).
  3. Tap the settings (cogwheel) icon.
  4. Select Message and Notice.

2. Block Messages from Strangers

To avoid spam and unsolicited messages, enable settings to block messages from users who are not in your contact list:

  1. Go to Privacy Settings.
  2. Find the Texting from Strangers section and disable it.

3. Set the Zalo Application Key

For added security, create a passcode to prevent unauthorized access to your Zalo account:

  1. Go to Add / Lock Icon / Lock Zalo.
  2. Select Set Lock Code and create a 4-digit password.

4. Sync Contacts to Zalo

Zalo automatically syncs contacts on your smartphone:

  1. In Settings, select Contacts.
  2. Tap Update Zalo Contacts to discover which of your friends are already using Zalo.

5. Share Your Feelings with Audio

You can send voice messages through Zalo:

  1. Go to Share and tap the microphone icon.
  2. Press the blue mic icon to start recording.
  3. Select Cancel to re-record or tap it again to finish the audio.

To log out from Zalo:

  1. Go to Add / Settings Icon / Manage Account.
  2. Select Sign Out of Account.

7. Scan QR Code to Make Friends

To connect with new friends without sharing phone numbers, use the QR code feature:

You can control which friend logs are visible to you:

  • Go to Privacy Settings / Hide Your Friends' Logs.
