Phones are getting smarter and smarter every day. One of the main focuses of today's technology is convenience. Everything can be connected to everything and controlled in a single, smooth movement. And with even more personalization, it's no surprise that many people choose to have their own Windows Server VPS.
Easy access from anywhere
A virtual private server impresses with the possibility of being able to access your work anywhere and anytime. With a VPS, not only can you take your work with you wherever you go when you need to, but you can also access your personal file storage. You won't be burdened by a behemoth of a machine needed to run your server. VPS works on the premise that you are assigned a virtual partition of a powerful server that is completely under your command. What's even better, you don't have to share any resources with other users because all the separate servers, even though they're on the same machine, don't affect or interact with each other. So even if you just have an old onelaptop or even a mobile phone, you can access the files in your server and even manage them remotely.
Windows Server VPS and Android access.
Speaking of Android phones and Windows Server VPS, you can use any of them to gain access to your VPS. What if you only have your mobile phone and you need to retrieve some very important files or make some very important fixes to your server? Well, that's exactly what you can do. Accessing your remote desktop via phone is really easy and can be done with a few simple steps.

First of all, you need a mobile phone that has an Android operating system installed. Next, you need to download RDP – Remote Desktop Program, from Google Market. The most popular program at the moment is the 2X Remote Desktop Client, which is also the most secure solution.
After the initial installation, the program will prompt you to add a new server. Just tap on the RDP connection and fill out all the details about the VPS that will be asked of you. Under Alias you can change the name of your virtual private server . In the Server tab, fill in the IP address. The port should be left as the default 3389. Your username is the administrator access code for your Windows VPS or dedicated server root. You can find the password in the e-mail that you received after registering.
That's all, you're set up. On the main screen of the X2 client , your server will be listed and just waiting for you to tap and connect.
