Among Us is already packed with features, from character customization options to unique gameplay mechanics for both astronauts and impostors. After many updates, Among Us is expanding more and more and here are some of the most anticipated features in Among Us .

1. Voice chat

One of the interesting elements of Among is that players need to try to find the individual who is lying. With the current text-based chatbot system, it's easier for players to lie. Therefore, it would be great if Among Us had a voice chat feature with a mic without having to use an external application.

2. Larger lobby

Currently, Among Us only allows up to 10 players in a room. This limit is not too bad, but it limits only 2 impostors in a game. 3 impostors are easier to win in a 10-man match, as long as no one gets caught on the first kill.

The best way to add players is to increase the total to 15. This allows the impersonation team to have more members, making the game more interesting as well. Hopefully InnerSloth will soon respond to that.

3. Expanded Customization

Currently, the ability to customize each character in Among Us is quite rich. Players have up to 12 color choices, add a headgear, choose a skin or buy a companion pet.

However, many people hope Among Us will have an additional color correction bar so that they can get the desired color for the character with the ability to upload skins and self-made hats.

4. Friend System

Among Us does not yet have a system to find and add friends to play with. Instead, players must generate a room code and send it to friends so they can join the game.

Although it's not too inconvenient, it's obviously easier to create rooms and directly invite people. In addition, popular Among Us streamers had to hide room codes to avoid unwanted guests. Giving each player an ID and allowing them to create direct friend invite lobbies seems to make more sense.

5. More ways to hide

Currently, the impostors in Among Us have only one way to avoid detection of a crime and that is to jump off the nearby Vent. Not only is this a great way to escape to another room, but it also allows players to hide when they don't want to roam around.

If developers add more ways to protect themselves for Imposters from the crowd, it will certainly be more difficult to identify fakers. The game will also be more interesting and challenging for everyone.

6. Add map

 

This is one of the most requested features in the game. Currently Among Us has 3 maps: The Skeld, Polus and Mira HQ. While they all provide a unique experience for players, over time they will become stale if nothing changes or improves.

The developer has announced that they will be adding a new map to Among Us in an upcoming update.

7. Disguise

This is unlikely, but imagine if the impostors had the ability to disguise themselves as someone in the lobby, what would happen? As long as there is a suitable restriction such as the number of uses per game in a round, Among Us players can create funny and mischievous situations.

8. Pitfalls

Another factor that many players hope to have soon in Among Us is the use of traps, instead of just destructive like the present.

This feature may be restricted to individual game use, but it offers unique gameplay mechanics if an impostor creates traps in a room. Then, if anyone accidentally stepped on the trap, they would die without seeing the perpetrator. From here, it is definitely more difficult to track down the culprit.

9. Roles

Fans Among Us hope the game has more roles to balance and allows them to create a lot of different gameplay in each turn. The developer is considering the role of an astronaut with sheriff-like abilities. They can find out someone's identity or have tools to help find the killer.

In addition, the impostor will also have many types with different methods of fooling astronauts, even having a neutral role wanting to be "killed".

10. Setting up the game Among Us

It would be nice if players could pre-set specific game modes so they wouldn't have to mess around with settings every time they entered the lobby.
