A technology that helps to minimize breakage when your iPhone falls from a height is being researched and developed by Apple.
The feeling when a valuable "mobile phone" falls to the ground and breaks the screen is not pleasant at all. Although you must always be careful in all cases, the reality shows that quite a lot of iPhones that only fall from a moderate height have been in the situation of cracked, broken screen. Understanding that, Apple has registered and patented a "smart drop" technology that minimizes damage when the iPhone is dropped.
This technology uses an accelerometer and magnetometer to quickly determine the direction of fall from which to determine the point that will be most affected. A dedicated processor then calculates and makes the necessary adjustments quickly to change where the phone falls, so as not to let the screen face down and crash. You can imagine this as Apple will vibrate the phone to change the direction of the fall, but this vibration will be stronger than the notification when a call or message arrives.
With this technology, surely will give more users more reasons to love Apple.
