If the mother has rubella in the early stages of pregnancy, the baby may be born with congenital rubella - growth retardation, birth defects (damage to the eyes, bones, heart, nervous system ...).

Does the rubella measles vaccination have a fever?
Some children may experience mild fever, rash, and swelling at the injection site after getting the vaccine. However, these are normal manifestations, the pain at the injection site will quickly disappear within 24 hours. The fever and the usual rash should also go away in 1-2 days.
The body's reactions to the drug after the injection do not pose a risk to the health of the child. If the high fever persists for about a week, or longer than usual, the mother should take the child to the health center to see a doctor for proper monitoring and treatment.
