However, Postinor 1 is a drug with a single pill dose and Postinor 2 comes with 2 pills divided into 2 doses, each containing 750 micrograms of progestogen levonorgestrel.
The first tablet should be taken within 72 hours of sex and the second pill 12 hours after the first pill. Note that two tablets should not be taken at the same time. In case of emergency or overdose, call the emergency department 115 right away or go to the nearest local health station.

Notes on use
The active ingredient progestogen levonorgestrel is safe and effective, with most of them having no side effects when used. However, some phenomena such as dizziness, nausea, chest tightness, abdominal pain, diarrhea, menstrual delay or missed period… will occur in some women. These phenomena are harmless and will go away on their own.
The contraceptive effectiveness of the drug is higher if it is used soon after sexual intercourse has occurred.
In particular, women should absolutely not use more than 2 doses of Postinor or any other emergency contraceptive pills in one menstrual cycle (1 month). Overdose or wrong way will not only reduce the effectiveness of the drug, but also cause unpredictable consequences.
If a woman vomits within 2 hours after taking the drug, another dose of another medication should be replaced immediately.
The contraceptive effect of Postinor is only about 80-90%, so women also need to monitor for signs such as: delay in menstruation for more than 5 days, morning sickness, positive urine test ... or go to an ultrasound of gynecology 2 week after intercourse to be sure.
