HOW TO MAKE THE DIAGONAL FRENCH OR OBLIQUE FRENCH OR TRANSVERSAL FRENCH
To create a perfect transverse French manicure , you need to perform a few simple steps. This manicure, simple but very used, does not require special technical skills , but only precision and normal manual skills .
We then proceed as follows:
the transparent base is applied as usual and left to dry;
the basic colored enamel of your choice is applied, waiting for it to dry;
at this point, with the second colored glaze, a diagonal line is drawn;
starting from one corner of the free edge , one arrives at the center of the lateral, forming a real triangle ;
once the decoration is dry, proceed with the application of the top coat .
HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS
There are small tricks that can help and facilitate us in the realization of the diagonal French .
First of all is certainly the use of paper tape that allows you to draw a precise and clean line, without compromising the performance of the enamel. Once the base enamel is applied and once dry, the triangle we want to define is delimited with a small strip of scotch-paper . It is then used as a guide for applying the second color .
The scotch-paper is particularly useful because unlike the classic plastic one, it does not stick in a persistent way. Furthermore, it does not leave adhesive residues on the enamel without compromising the final result. Convenient and functional, it is easily found in stationery and DIY stores .
Using a nail art brush , being thinner, allows us to perform freehand work flawlessly.
ORIGINAL ALTERNATIVES
This original French, lends itself to numerous chromatic variations to effect decorations. It is possible to use our favorite colors, whether they are bright or pastel, glitter enamels or matte enamels and even, with glitter, define the line that divides the French, for an elegant manicure .
In this case, made the French and before applying the top coat , we will proceed as follows:
with the help of a thin brush, we will create a thin line on the division of the triangle previously drawn from the total surface of the nail bed ;
to do this we will use the transparent top coat;
before it dries, we will dip the nail in the glitter, which will remain attached to the line created just before;
The result is a definitely sober, elegant and highly sought-after nail-art.
Alternatively we can use the nail-stripes , thin adhesive tapes of the size of one millimeter. They can be positioned to delimit the various lines or create new ones, and then fix them with an application of top coat .
In short, green light to our creativity to which in this case we must not set any limits!
