The  water marble nail art  is a nail decoration that consists in creating a marble effect design .

The nails are decorated with an original pattern characterized by veins and color games, which reflect the typical pattern of marble . These veins are created by simply using enamels and warm water . With this nail art technique you can easily create original patterns ranging from simple lines, stripes and spirals to elaborate decorations .

It is a nail art that can be created on natural nails but also on gel and acrylic reconstruction.

WHAT YOU NEED TO CREATE THE WATER MARBLE

 

Making the water marble nail art is quite simple but you have to pay close attention to the products used in fact not all glazes are suitable for the realization of this kind of artistic nail art .

You need a  not too thick nail polish  (the more liquid the better) that allows you to create the base of our easily workable water marble nail art .

Here is in detail what it takes to do the water marble nail art:

Nail polishes:  characterized by a creamy finish without glitter or satin. They must be very fluid and not particularly dense.

Warm water or at room temperature: where to insert the drops of nail polish that will subsequently be worked to create the pattern to be transferred on the nails.

Orange sticks or toothpicks: basic for working glazes in water, thus creating the characteristic marble effect.

Scotch: useful for protecting the cuticles when we immerse the nails in water.

Nail polish remover or polish corrector pen: useful for finishing the manicure once the fingers have been immersed in water and polish.

Transparent top coat: to seal the manicure.

White chalk nail polish: to be used as a base to enhance the colors of the nail art.

HOW THE WATER MARBLE NAIL ART STEP BY STEP IS MADE

Here are all the steps to create the base of the water marble nail art that we are going to transfer later on the nails:

You take a small glass container  and fill it with  warm water or room temperature , enough to soak the nails individually.

Take 3/6 colored enamels  and pour one drop of enamel at a time with the brush (alternating the colors). At each step you have to wait for the drop in the water to widen, forming a circle.

It continues by overlapping the glazes drop by drop in order to characterize a base consisting of colored concentric circles .

Once the color combination we prefer has been created, we proceed with the processing of what will be the marble pattern .

Using an orange stick or a toothpick , we create strips and lines by working the various circles with the tip until we obtain the desired decoration.

In this way we have created the water marble decoration  that we are going to transfer on the nails proceeding in this way:

A chalk white nail polish is applied to the nails which enhances the colors of the nail art and facilitates fixing.

The cuticle ring is protected by applying scotch tape so that when the fingers are immersed in water, the enamel does not adhere to the skin.

We proceed with the immersion of the single nail in water, placing its surface on the previously created decoration.

Once the nail polish is adhered, the residues around the finger still immersed are removed using a toothpick.

Once the finger has been removed from the water, the nail polish is left to dry and the sealing top coat is applied in order to fix and preserve the nail art.

The scotch tape is removed and cuticles cleaned if necessary with an enamel pen or a cotton swab soaked in solvent.

At this point our water marble nail art is ready to be exhibited through a complete manicure or a simple accent nail that is always elegant and refined.
