How to use the printer properly for new users is detailed and easy to understand

1. The steps to use the printer correctly

- Step 1: Install the printer with the server

First, you need to use the power cord to connect the printer to the server.

- Step 2: Set up the right to share the printer with other machines

First, press Start menu > click Settings (the cog icon) or use the Windows + I key combination to open the Windows Settings interface .

Interface in Windows Settings > Click Devices .

Appear Devices interface > Select the Printers & Scanners tab in the list on the left side of the screen> Go to Printers & Scanners , right-click the printer you are using at > Select Open Queue .

Then, right-click on the screen> Select Sharing .

Finally, check Share this Printer > Select Apply > Click OK to finish.

- Step 3: Connect the computer system to the printer

You go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers , click Add a printer > Select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer so that the machine will start to detect existing printers in the local network.

Select the printer you need to connect to and select Next > Complete the steps as instructed.

- Step 4: Proceed to print documents

After the installation is complete> Open the document file to print and print it by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + P > Select the settings and then press Print .

2. Some of the basic function options on the printer

- Copies : Please enter the number of copies to print.

- Printer : Please select the printer.

- Print All Pages : There are options Print All Pages or Print Current Page: choose to print 1 or more pages, print a specific page (the default is to print all pages).

- Print One Sided : Print 1 side or multiple sides (default is 1 side printing).

- Print One Sided : Print order of copies, print each copy 1 time or print each page of copies in 1 turn.

Portrait / Landscape Orientation : Choose to print in landscape or portrait .

- A4 / Letter : Select a paper size of A4, A5, ...

- Margins : Select the type of alignment for the print.

- Page setup : Column of other settings.

3. Important note during use

- Location of the machine

You should place the printer in a flat, well-ventilated place, out of reach of children. Design of printer power lines and cables neatly.

- Ink pot

The ink cartridge is very easy to dry out, you should not leave the cartridge in the air for too long.

+ For laser ink tanks, you should not expose to sunlight. Must be kept in sealed boxes or black plastic bags for storage.

If you do not use the printer for a long time, you should remove the toner cartridge and store it in a sealed container.

- Cleaning the machine

You should clean the printer every 3 months, for how to clean the printer, refer to the printer manual.

- Do not shut down suddenly

Do not turn off the printer suddenly. In particular, with color inkjet printers, after printing is complete, wait a little longer so that it has time to cover the printer's head before turning off the printer, to avoid drying the cartridges.
