And this is how the change is made in about:config.
First, start Firefox and then type in the address bar at the top
about:config
and then press the Enter key and now confirm the warning message.
Then make the following entry in the top left under Search:
browser.urlbar.trimURLs
On the right-hand side, under Value, is the entry: true
Now double-click on this value with the left mouse button, thereby changing the existing entry from true to false .
That was it already.
In this case, the change is applied immediately without restarting Firefox,
and the missing http display can be seen again in front of the URL of an insecure site.
