Fix audio loss error on NoxPlayer

If your Android NoxPlayer emulator (or Nox App Player ) suddenly loses its sound, try some of the following NoxPlayer audio loss fixes before thinking of removing NoxPlayer and reinstalling a new version.

Step 1:  You start the NoxPlayer emulator on your computer, from the main screen of this emulator. Have you checked if the two audio buttons work? Or if it is too small, you can increase and check again.

Step 2: Check the computer's audio player. From the desktop, do the following:

• Search for sound icon on the screen (taskbar), near the hour display.
• Left click on the speaker icon .
• Select " Open Volume Mixer ".

Step 3 : Volume Mixer interface appears as below, you observe the column showing the sound status of the NoxPlayer emulator.

Sometimes for some reason or accidentally click we turn off the sound of this emulator, or make the sound too small, making hearing more difficult.

Now just left click on it, hold and drag it up to be okay.

Step 4:  If you have not done all of the above, you can continue to open Nox Multi-instance manager .

Step 5: Here, you can choose the version of the operating system that is experiencing sound loss or you can click Select All - Select All to select all available versions. 

Step 6 : Left-click on the tab Multitasking settings - Multi-instance settings , find the Sound settings - Sounds , check the box Enable - Enable is tick or not?

If not, you can add additional ticks or if already ticked, then remove the tick and perform again, then click Save settings - Save settings to save.

This is not a very serious error, but if the instructions in this article do not work, you can remove and install a newer version of NoxPlayer to fix it.

Step 1: Right-click on This PC > Select Properties .

Step 4: Here, uncheck the Automatically manage paging file size for all drivers section > Select Custom size and customize the setting of 2 parameters : 

• Initial size : You set it to be equal to the size of the actual amount of RAM.
• Maximum size : You set up 1.5-2 times the actual size of the RAM.

For example: My computer has 8GB of RAM, so the index setting is 8192MB and 16384MB, respectively.

Then click Set > Click OK .

Increase virtual memory size

Finally, restart your device and open NoxPlayer to see if the error is still there. 

3. Error 1016

When opening the NoxPlayer software, some users make the error 1016 - System boot timeout, temporarily exit any security software and try again . If you get this error, please turn off the firewall on your computer and try again.

Step 1: Press the Windows + R key combination to open the Run dialog box, type Control Panel > Click OK.

5. Start NoxPlayer stuck at 99% load

Error booting NoxPlayer stuck at 99% load is often encountered due to the computer has a low configuration or your version of NoxPlayer is too old.

How to fix:

Please check the NoxPlayer software information installed on your computer by clicking the three-dash icon in the right corner of the screen> Select System Information .

• Nox version: Check if your NoxPlayer version is up to date.
• Available memory if less than 4,000MB the emulator runs unstable.
• Open VT or not : Virtualization technology must be open.
• Check display mode .
• Separate graphics : Check is opened. 

After you have reset the above information, try to start NoxPlayer with the error.

6. Error has no sound

During the game, you lose the sound, giving you a bad experience when playing Android games on your computer.

How to fix:

Step 1: Click the MultiDrive icon in the right menu bar of NoxPlayer.

7. NoxPlayer cannot type in text

Step 1: Click Tools on NoxPlayer interface> Select Settings .

Step 1: Click Tools on NoxPlayer interface> Select Settings .

Step 2: Click on Wifi .

Step 3: Please push the switch to the right to turn on, push the slider to the left to turn off continuously a few times to see if the error can be fixed.
