Resetting a password may result in data loss for that user account.
For security reasons, Windows protects certain data so that it becomes inaccessible after you reset your password.
The data will be lost the next time the user logs on. You should only use this command if a user has forgotten their password and does not have a password reset disk.
The user should use this disk to set the password if a disk was created.
A user can change the password if they know it by logging in. Press Ctrl+Alt-Del and click Change Password. Click Help for more information.
Important: When changing the password, this can be a password that you have not used for the last three passwords.
