In iOS 18, Apple added rainbow colors to the Font & Color customization options on the Lock Screen, allowing you to change the rainbow color for the clock on your iPhone. In iOS 17, users also have the option to choose colors and styles to change the clock color, but mainly monochrome through the color code bar to choose more. With this rainbow color for the clock, the iPhone lock screen interface will be more novel. Below are instructions for changing the rainbow color for the clock on iPhone.
Instructions to change rainbow color for clock on iOS 18
Step 1:
First, the user presses and holds the lock screen on the iPhone and then presses the Customize button to change the interface.
Step 2:
Users click on Lock Screen to change the interface for the lock screen. Next, you click on the clock to change the interface again.
Step 3:
Display the change options for the clock, you tap on the rainbow circle to apply. The result you will see the rainbow color for the clock on iPhone as shown below.
You continue to edit the font for the clock and the size for the clock if you want. Finally, you press Done to save the changes to the lock screen and you're done.
How to change the clock style on iPhone lock screen
Step 1:
At the lock screen interface, we press and hold on the screen . Next, you click on Customize below to adjust the lock screen on iPhone.
Step 2:
Now you will see each editing area on the lock screen, click on the clock item to change the clock style on the iPhone lock screen.
Step 3:
First you will see the clock style interface with font style and color for the clock. To change the font style, click on the globe icon . You will have 3 different font styles.
Click on each font style to see how the clock appears.
Step 4:
Next, below we will choose the color for the watch with available color gamuts. When you click on any color, the color gamut adjustment bar will appear. To expand the color selection panel , click on the color gamut selection icon at the bottom.
Step 5:
Switch to the new interface to select a new color scheme. Here you can enter any color code to display the color scheme yourself.
Then adjust the color bars above to choose the color gamut you want. In addition, we also have the Spectrum and Grid sections to choose colors.
Step 5:
After selecting the color scheme, return to the iPhone lock screen clock adjustment interface. Here you can still change the color scheme to your liking, with the color scheme adjustment bar below.
The final result is a more eye-catching iPhone lock screen clock.
