Date and time in Windows 11 automatically updated via the Internet. However, if you would like to enter the information manually, you can do this under the settings. We explain how this works in this guide.

By default, the date and time is displayed in the lower-right corner of the taskbar . When you click on it, the time, date and current month are displayed.
If you prefer to enter the date and time manually, then do the following.

Open Windows 11 settings

Start Windows 11 Settings. The easiest way to do this is with the key combination Windows + I . Once the Windows 11 settings have opened, click on "Time and language". Next to Time & Language, click on "Date and Time"

In Date & Time settings , click the switch next to Set time automatically to Off.

Set the date and time manually

Click on "Change" below under "Set date and time manually ".

If you prefer to synchronize the time automatically via the Internet, activate the "Set time automatically" option again . Windows 11 automatically sets the date and time from time server : time.windows.com .
