Microsoft is now rolling out AI Copilot to all of its apps, including the latest version of Notepad. Users can use Copilot to summarize any selected content, rewriting any content in the style of their choice. In case you don't want to use Copilot in Notepad, refer to the shortcut guide in the article below.
How to Disable Copilot in Notepad Windows 11
Step 1:
At the interface of the Notepad application, users click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the interface.
Step 2:
Switch to the new setup interface, users click on the Copilot item below and then slide the round button to the left to turn off this feature.

Then in the Notepad interface, there will no longer be a Copilot option for you to click to use. If you want to use Copilot again in Notepad, we just need to re-enable it in the application settings. Note, you need to log in with a Microsoft account on Windows 11 to use Copilot.
