  1. Step 1: Open the Zalo chat application. On the main interface, navigate to the Contacts tab. If your app is updated, you will see the Buddies feature at the top right corner.
  2. Step 2: Click on Select you usually contact. From the Mark Buddy interface, you can search by entering a friend's name or by scrolling through the list.
  3. Note: You can select multiple friends simultaneously. Once selected, press the blue arrow button to confirm your selections.
  4. Selected contacts will now appear in the Buddies section of the Contacts tab.

Method 2: Marking Close Friends in the Chat Window

  1. Step 1: Open a chat with the friend you wish to mark as a close friend.
  2. Step 2: In the chat window, click on the three dots in the top-right corner, then select the star icon to Mark your best friend which will turn yellow.
  3. Once done, return to the Contacts tab to find the newly marked buddy in the Your Buddies section.
