iPhone has an option to tag pets to group them into albums for tagged animals. The option to tag pets is basically similar to tagging people, adding faces to photos on iPhone . The Photos app automatically recognizes and adds animals to albums for you to keep track of. Here are instructions for tagging pets in iPhone Photos.
How to Tag Pets in iPhone Photos
Step 1:
In the Photos app on iPhone, tap on the image of the pet you want to tag. Then tap on the i icon below. Display the photo information interface, we continue to tap on the question mark in the photo. You continue to tap on Name this pet to create a name tag for the pet.
Step 2:
Now the interface appears for you to enter the name for the pet identified in the photo, then press Next in the top right corner to save. Thus, you have completed tagging the pet's name on iPhone.
Step 3:
If you tap on the pet avatar icon, you can select Set as main photo.
Step 4:
Go back to your phone's albums and you'll see a People, Pets & Places album with your pet's photo saved in it. When you tap on the album, you'll see the pet's name that you've created a tag for.
Step 5:
Click on the image in the album and then click on the 3 dot icon to display options as shown below.
