How to turn on change notifications on Google Sheet
The notification settings when changes in Google Sheet will help you quickly capture information quickly. Google Sheets spreadsheets can easily change content if you share without permission restrictions, this will make it easier for the data to be changed directly by many people but will also cause certain inconveniences to main user.
To keep track of other people's activities on your spreadsheet you need to turn on email notifications. Alternatively, you can choose to send an email immediately or as a daily change statistics. Notification settings when there are changes to Google Sheet
Step 1:
Open your spreadsheet on your computer.
From here, click Tools to the menu bar, then select Notification Rules.
Step 2:
At the Setting up notification rules interface, there will be options as follows:
Notify me via email when ...
Any changes made: Set notifications when someone makes changes to the spreadsheet.
User submits form: Set a notification when someone fills the form. In the window that appears, select the "frequency" you want to receive notifications.
Notify me with ...
Email - daily notification: Send daily summary of all changes.
Email - instantly: Send emails about any changes.
After selecting, click Save to complete the notification settings when there are changes to the spreadsheet.
