One of the reasons why the computer is slow and laggy is because the computer is hot, affecting the CPU or the computer's lifespan. There are many tools to check the computer system to optimize the computer, such as SpeedFan. SpeedFan is a tool to control the computer fan speed , check the temperature of the CPU, mainboard and hard drive so that users can find ways to cool down the computer if the temperature is high. From the data that SpeedFan collects, users will know the current status of the computer, giving warnings if an abnormal situation is detected. The following article will guide readers on how to use the SpeedFan tool.
How to measure computer fan performance on SpeedFan
Step 1:
We download SpeedFan software from the link below and install it as usual.
Start the tool and the user will see the CPU temperature through 2 cores Core 0, Core 1. Each CPU core has its own thermometer but will have the same reading as shown. If there is a flame icon, the temperature is hot. When we check Automatic fan speed , this tool automatically adjusts the speed of the computer fan based on the temperature of the CPU and HDD.

Note , some computers when using SpeedFan will display fan speed, some computers will not display because your computer does not support adjustment, the software does not support. If the computer is supported, the fan speed will be displayed as below.

Step 2:
Click on the Clock tab to edit the computer bus (FSB), however, users need to pay attention if they are not technically savvy, changing the FSB incorrectly can cause the computer to slow down. The Motherboard section will select the motherboard name, Clock selects what Clock Generator is in the displayed list.

Step 3:
The Info tab provides the name of the chipset you are using as well as the RAM parameters when you press Read Info. The Exotics tab provides more detailed information about the CPU temperature to automatically adjust the cooling fan speed to suit the CPU temperature.

Step 4:
The SMART tab is used to view hard drive information.

Finally, the Chart tab displays the temperature of different areas in the computer via a chart.
