There are many options available to customize your iPhone lock screen , and you can add a name to your iPhone lock screen with a very simple operation. You can use the Focus mode in iPhone to add a name to the lock screen, or use a supporting application if you want. Below are instructions for adding a name to the iPhone lock screen.
How to add name to iPhone lock screen via Focus Mode
Step 1:
You access Settings on iPhone then click on the Focus feature . Switch to the new interface, click on the plus icon in the right corner to add a new focus mode.

Step 2:
Continue to click on Customize to add a new mode. Now we name this mode as the name that will be displayed on the iPhone lock screen, then select the display icon and choose the color for that icon . Then click Next below to save this mode.
Step 3:
Open Control Center on iPhone then click on the Focus Mode icon . Now we just need to click on the name of the mode we just set to activate it.
Then we will see the name displayed on the iPhone lock screen as shown below.
How to add name to iPhone lock screen using app
Step 1:
First we download the Widgetsmith application from the link below.
Step 2:
After installing the application, in the application interface, click on Lock Screen to adjust the iPhone lock screen. In this interface, users will see the Text Widgets section , click Add Text Widgets to add a text Widget to display on the lock screen.
Step 3:
Switch to the new interface, click on Text to write text on the lock screen. You will write your name or any content on this interface.
We can add phone characters to the name, but when displayed on the screen it will be in black and white so you need to pay attention. When finished, press Save to save .
Step 4:
Continue to click on Add Text Widgets to add other content and create a list to choose from when you want to change. If you want to use the character format, click on the Symbol type , then click on Symbol above to switch to the character input interface.
You search for the character you want to display on your iPhone lock screen, and it also displays in black and white.
Step 5:
The text content you added will be in list form and numbered as below. To delete, click Edit in the top right corner. After deleting, click Done to save.
Step 6:
Go back to the iPhone lock screen , press and hold on the lock screen and tap the Customize button to change the lock screen look back.
Step 7:
At the adjustment interface, you click on the time widget . Then display the widgets for you to change, we click on Widgetsmith to use text on the lock screen.
Step 8:
The resulting icon has been displayed on the lock screen as shown below. To change the content line , click on this icon line. We click on the text line we created in numbered order.
The resulting lock screen will display the name, or content you created on Widgetsmith as shown below.
Note that when you enter the content you want to display on the iPhone lock screen, you should enter it briefly so that it will be displayed sufficiently on the lock screen.
