Do you want to enlarge an image or cut out a detail from an image? Right in the iPhone, there are all the most basic image editing tools for us to use, such as cropping the image to the size, ratio you want or according to the suggested size. Below are instructions on different ways to crop photos in iPhone.
Crop photos in iPhone automatically
Step 1:
Click on the image you want to crop in the album, then click on the Edit button in the top right corner of the interface. Next, click on the crop icon below to crop the image.
Step 2:
Now you will see a white frame surrounding the image so we can adjust the crop area as we want. You just need to drag in or drag out the white frame to crop the photo on iPhone.
The image is instantly cropped on the iPhone. If you want to return to the original photo, press Reset.
How to crop iPhone photos according to aspect ratio
You can also crop the photo using a specific aspect ratio to get the correct image size in standard aspect ratio.
Step 1:
In the photo cropping interface on iPhone, you click on the aspect ratio icon on the toolbar. Then below you will see many types of aspect ratios for us to choose from, in Portrait and Landscape styles.
Step 2:
You click on each aspect ratio to choose a beautiful frame for the image. We can move the white grid to select the position where we want to crop the image.
Finally, when you are satisfied, click Done to save the newly cropped photo.
How to reset image to original size
You can completely restore any photo to its original state after making changes or edits on the iPhone Photos app itself.
Step 1:
Open the previously cropped photo to return to its original size and click Edit in the top right corner. Next, the user selects Restore in the bottom right corner of the interface.
Step 2:
Then you are asked if you are sure you want to restore the original image, we click on Restore original to do so.
The photo is immediately reset to its original size before cropping on iPhone.
