Google Sheets has a document sharing mode to collaborate with others online, or share data in Google Sheets. And in addition to sharing a Google Sheets file with all sheets displayed, users can choose to share a Google Sheets data area or share a sheet on Google Sheets, with the only sheet to share, not the entire file. Below is a tutorial on sharing a sheet on Google Sheets.
How to share a sheet on Google Sheets via link
This is the simplest way when you want to share a single sheet with others. Just copy the link of the sheet you want to share and send it to others.
The person who receives the link will then immediately access the sheet you sent. This way, they can still access other sheets in the document, so users need to pay attention.

Share a single sheet on Google Sheets
In case you only want to share 1 sheet on Google Sheets and the recipient of the link cannot view the content in other sheets, you need to set up protection mode.
Step 1:
At the sheet we want to protect, we click on Data and select Protect sheet and range .

Step 2:
Next, on the right side of the screen, the user continues to click on Add worksheet or cell range to be protected.

Step 3:
Now you click on the Sheet category , enter a description inside and then click on the sheet that needs to be protected and not shared. Below there is an additional option Except certain cells to select the cells that will be shared in that protected sheet. Finally click on the Set Permissions button .

Step 4:
Now the interface appears to edit additional protection rights. We choose the settings as we like and then click the Done button. Thus this sheet has been protected.

How to share a sheet on Google Sheets from a new file
If we want to completely restrict other people's access to other sheets without having to set up much, we just need to create a new file from the sheet we want to share.
On the sheet you want to share, right-click, select Copy to, then select New Spreadsheet .
Then this sheet is created into a completely new spreadsheet for us to share via the sheet link and we're done.
