Loreal Professionnel event: color, fold and Steam Pod plate

L'Oreal Professionnel  presented the innovative DIA Light and DIA Richesse colors and the Steam Pod plate which, thanks to the steam, gives a long-lasting and natural fold, leaving the hair silky and full to the touch.

To present these products, L'Oreal Professionnel  organized an event dedicated to bloggers , at the L'Oréal Academy in Rome in P.zza Mignanelli, 23. We will tell you the details and our experience.

Entering the Academy was a real thrill, in every corner there was a relaxed and super professional atmosphere. The exhibitors with the Essie nail polish collections that we love so much could not go unnoticed .

After a delicious buffet, in the conference room we witnessed a detailed presentation of the L'oreal Professionne l philosophy . Germana and Sabrina directly from the Milan Academy, explained the key points of professional coloring and the " cosmetic fold ".

Germana was a very valid guide, she revealed all the tricks on how to make a careful and precise image consultation , underlining the importance of a good hair color and especially how to choose the ideal color according to the person.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE COLOR OF THE HAIR
We also followed a practical lesson  , that is with the help of two volunteer bloggers, he explained to us how to choose the right color by evaluating factors such as skin tone , face shape and eye color . Hair color can really transform a person's appearance.

We must not take into account only our personal tastes but it is important to choose the color in such a way that it can enhance our face. Warm skin will be highlighted with a warm hair color, while cool skin will look brighter when paired with a cool hair color. It is essential to carry out tests by bringing the colored hair locks close to the face to see the effect. The rounded or elongated face shape can look more harmonious, not only thanks to a suitable haircut, but also by playing with the lighter or darker color on the roots and tips.

Since the choice is not always simple, it is essential to seek advice from the L'Oréal Professionnel hair stylist , who will be able to combine your wishes with the ideal solution to enhance your appearance while also taking into account the needs of your hair.

DIA LIGHT AND DIA RICHESSE
L'oreal Professionnel experts presented us the hair colors Dia Light and Dia Richesse . It is a color system, tone-on-tone, double technology, without ammonia that respects the hair. DIA Light has an innovative acid pH technology that closes the scales for a compact and silky hair fiber. It allows you to create luminous reflections, with a vinyl effect shine. Ensures an excellent result even on sensitized hair. DIA Richesse,  on the other hand, sublimates natural hair with splendid reflections and offers gray hair coverage up to 70%. The hair remains ultra soft and shiny.

COSMETIC FOLD AND STEAM POD PLATE
Sabrina, with great professionalism, has revealed to us the greatest innovation regarding the fold: the " cosmetic fold " or a fold that not only allows us to put our hair in shape, but at the same time to treat it.

Thanks to his advice, we discovered the  " Steam Pod plate ", a revolutionary steam straightener resulting from the collaboration between L'Oreal & Rowenta which not only has the task of straightening or curling the hair, but of treating and restructuring it with the innovative method steam powered.

Steam Pod , unlike the classic straighteners, does not dehydrate the hair but moisturizes it and if combined with a special treatment "the steam pod cream" it will reconstruct it.

At the base of the Steam pod cream there is a special molecule, pro keratin, a synthetic reproduction of keratin (i.e. the substance the hair is made of), a molecule thanks to which the hair is reactivated and reconstituted.

Steam Pod was born after 5 years of research with 8 patents and since last June it is available in all L'Oreal Professionnel salons  and from April 2013 it will also be available in stores , for use at home.

After the very interesting presentation, the real practical part of the evening began, all of us bloggers became L'Oreal models , we were given the opportunity to choose a beauty ambassador and be able to put into practice everything we learned during the presentation for live it on our hair.

I chose the talented Marcello Montorsi owner of the salon "La Parrucchieria 12", his detailed explanation of all the phases of my Cosmetic Fold was excellent .

He started with a wonderful Pro keratin-based healing shampoo, the wash was very delicate, accompanied by two really fantastic skin massages then applied a cream that was on for a few minutes and after another relaxing massage.

After a short drying, Marcello revealed all the secrets about the straightener : he taught me to apply the Steam pod cream and to use the straightener on my hair. He was really good I tried straightening my hair myself and, thanks to his advice, it was a breeze.

At the end of the evening my hair was soft and shiny as silk. A unique result, which fortunately can now be obtained by all women at home, because the Steam Pod plate will be put on the market.
