With the Safari browser on your iPhone , it is possible to store the log-in data with password and Internet forms, credit card data, and the iPhone fills in the required data automatically if necessary. How you can activate this function is shown in this guide.
Save and autofill passwords
Automatically filling in used data can save a significant amount of time. You want to log on to a website and the Safari browser already adds your data. When you enter it for the first time, the browser asks whether you want to save the data.
If you have agreed to this and would like to log in to the same website in the future, the log-in date, e.g. B. Username and password entered automatically.
In order to use these useful features, you need to enable the following in the iPhone settings .
Tap Settings > Passwords > Autofill in sequence .
Activate the action here and select if you allow app or iCloud keychain.

From now on, when you enter the log-in data on a website, you will be asked whether the data should be saved .
View saved passwords
Over time, a lot of log-in data such as user name or e-mail with the passwords is collected. You have the option to view the passwords saved by Safari.
Tap Settings > Passwords.

It will ask for your security code, which you must enter or use Touch ID or Face ID.
All saved data is listed alphabetically. Tap on an entry and you can see the login details and password.
