Train safety skills when traveling for your baby
Family travel with children, child safety always comes first. However, parents often overly prepare and train their children basic knowledge about travel safety, partly urgently, partly thinking that a parent is there to remind them. Therefore, the preparation is often not thoughtful and thorough.
Here are some experiences to practice safety skills when children travel, especially on the crowded holidays every year.
Practice your child's travel preparation skills
Once the parent has decided where to go and prepare related things such as tickets, transportation, hotels, and activities, the next step is to provide information for these three questions:
1. Where do I go? That is the name / place or the address of the place to travel.
Often we do not often forget or find it unnecessary to say the name of the place we need to go to our children because we think the child is young, even if we say it, we do not know. And when the parent will prepare everything for the baby, and the baby only needs time and time to go. This helps the baby to rely on his / her father / mother and only know he goes out and the rest of the child doesn't know or worry. So when I go back, someone else asks me where I go is just the answer to go out, where to ask more, I will answer I don't know or shake my head.
The advantages of giving the name of the place to go are :
- Supplement knowledge, vocabulary for children.
- In case of lost or needing to find children, I can tell my location.
- Gradually teach your child about locating, and skills of observing information and gathering information around.

2. Where is that place? Is it readable on the map?
Teach your child how to view the map of street names, how to find directions, and address names. In all cases of being lost, it always helps you to determine the best position and direction.
3. Go there for what?
Always know what to do there? have purpose? With orientation, they will focus on what they have given and want to do at their destination, helping them have more interesting experiences than simply going there to play and have fun. That would be extremely general. Please specify what you play or do, for example you go to Waterfall you want to see how fast the water is flowing? Do you want to see if there are rocks around the waterfall? have a tree? I want to collect a few things around there. And it's important to have fun.

After answering the other 3 questions, what should I prepare and prevent?
Question 1: About training safety skills for children when traveling for children that you need to answer is that you should think of all the possible dangers for the trip?
I have trained the kids and almost all of you know all the dangers and dangers around, that we do not allow you to self-enlighten, absorb and correct your behavior accordingly. You can say: kidnapping, getting lost, car crash, falling, fighting, getting toys, scrambling to eat, falling, drowning, being poisoned, being lured, house fire, flood 🙂… .. And if heard Question 2 you answer, the more you will feel wonderful and creative.
Question 2: That is, think of all measures to prevent dangerous accidents? What to do when kidnapped? lost what to do? how about being lured?
You can come up with solutions yourself, you just need to add the necessary areas and the system for your children to remember. At each different age, there will be different questions, so analyze and enrich the situations to handle for you.
Finally, you have to write your name - home address and phone number on a piece of paper to stick on your pocket. (Children only need to belong to their phone number, or I usually stick information on the back of their shirt for long trips)

Prepare travel gear (Packing)
You have to know what you carry in your bag and what for, not filling all your toys with your toys. Basic items are always available for the trips you need and will gradually learn through trips such as water bottles / hats / maps / flashlights / clothes ... Then go to the beach, swimwear / floats / towels ... .
When you know what you bring and what to do, you will become more conscious to check and keep your belongings.
After the field trip, the children can write diaries, memoirs, mindmaps, and lapbooks about their trip.
