Autocorrect is enabled by default on Android. This can help you spell the correct word when you type multiple letters on the keyboard. Unfortunately, this doesn't always work and can get annoying over time. Luckily, you can change autocorrect under settings. We will show you how to do this here:
Disable autocorrect - Here's how
If you have turned on autocorrect , you've probably already written something other than what you wanted when you were writing. The worst is when you e.g. B. write and send a WhatsApp message or email and the text is not what you wanted to write.
To avoid such errors, it is better to turn off autocorrect.
Tap Settings .
Choose Language & input .
Scroll down and tap Android keyboard.
Scroll down and tap Text Correction
Here you can move the slider to the left for auto correction.
Android autocorrect is now disabled.
Depending on the Android smartphone, the settings may look slightly different
