Making a perfect French Chevron is quite simple: a minimum of dexterity and a little imagination will allow us to obtain a perfect manicure.
Here are the basic steps to create the characteristic V-Shape decoration .
We start with the application of the transparent base in order to protect the nail from any color spots.
Once the base is dry, we start by applying the first colored nail polish as a base all over the nail and wait for it to dry.
Proceed by tracing the first transverse line using a second colored nail polish , starting from the side of the nail up to the opposite end of the free edge.
The triangular section is then completed by drawing a second line that starts from the opposite side and also ends on the free edge.
In this way we will have obtained a real French which instead of being concave, looks exactly like a triangle.
It ends by applying a top coat that helps increase the duration of the manicure.

If we do not have particular manual skills but still want to make a rather precise French Chevron , we can resort to using a thin nail-art brush to replace the classic nail polish one.

The V-shaped adhesive nail forms are also very useful, small adhesive strips that act as a guide and allow us to trace a perfect French Chevron , if used as a stencil. As an alternative you can use a classic adhesive tape that we all have at home.
