Note: Currently the Messenger app does not support screen capture function of messages. So, you need to open the message interface to capture and use the phone's screen capture function to capture.
IPhone models with Face ID such as iPhone X , iPhone XS , iPhone XS Max , iPhone XR , iPhone 11 , iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max do not have a Home button, so you need to use the Side Button instead. .
The implementation is as follows:
+ Step 1: Open the interface of the message you need to capture on Messenger.
+ Step 2: Press and hold the Power button.
+ Step 3: Quickly press the Volume Up button while holding the Power button. At this point, you will see the screen blink in white and hear the sound of taking pictures. This proves that you have successfully taken screenshots.

All iPhones from the original 2007 to the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus as well as the iPhone SE (2020) use the same gesture to take screenshots.
+ Step 1: Open the interface of the message you need to capture on Messenger.
+ Step 2: Press and hold the Power button on the right side of the phone.
Step 3: Press the Home button while holding the power button. The screen will flash white and the shutter sound will sound, meaning the screenshot has been taken successfully.

For Android phones, the steps to take a screenshot are the same and easy to follow.
First, you need to locate the Power and Volume Down buttons on your phone.
Next, just press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button simultaneously to take a photo. The blinking screen is an indication that the screen has been successfully captured.

On phones that support Google Assistant , you can ask the assistant to take a screenshot for you.
You open the interface of the screen of the message you need to capture on Messenger and say: "OK Google, take a screenshot (OK Google, take a screenshot)" . At this point, the screen will be captured and saved under the Assistant interface.
