The laptop screen is something you have to see every day when working, so try to keep it in the best working condition. To keep it from breaking, please note the things that QuanTriMang notes below!
9 actions that can easily damage your laptop screen
Press the screen
Use your finger or any hard, sharp object to press hard on the screen. This method is about 90% successful, depending on your "internal strength" and your "cruelty". If you are not brave enough, you can let your dog or cat scratch the screen with its claws.
Drop laptop
Dropping your screen from a height will ensure that not only the screen but also your laptop is at risk of ending up in a second-hand store or... a scrap yard. The higher the drop, and the more the screen makes contact with the ground first, or the screen is open, the greater the chance of damage.
Press hard on the computer
Close your laptop screen, and stand or sit on it (whichever you prefer!), and see if the screen is concave while you do this. The concaveness is directly proportional to the possibility of damage to the screen.
Splash water or food on screen
Spill or splash food, coffee or soft drinks (carbonated, preferably mineral!) onto the screen. Doing this while the machine is running and the screen is on will kill the screen. If it doesn’t break, it will be covered in white spots like a “dermatological disease”. Touching your food-covered fingers to the screen will also have a “cool” effect!
Water spilled into the screen slot
Pour water (or any liquid, including glass cleaner) into the slots on the four sides of the screen. This way, you can also destroy the keyboard and many other parts.
Do not turn on screen saver
Turn off Screensaver and power saving modes in your operating system, then leave your screen running 24/7 with a single color. Bright white might be a good option if you do this.
Closing and opening the laptop too hard
In your spare time, you can open and close the laptop screen quickly, forcefully and many times. Unfortunately, this method can only break or loosen the connecting cables, and if you spend a little money to replace a new cable, the screen may work again.
Let laptop exposed to rain and sun
Take your laptop out into the garden and let the screen dry in the sun, or leave it next to a fish pond to get wet, or leave it in a dusty place. When the screen breaks, no one will be able to find out the reason for the failure, if you do it this way. In case you don’t have free time during the day, taking your computer out in the evening and sitting under a high-pressure lamp is also of equal value.
Explore the inside of your laptop
Get your computer repair kit, remove the screws, and open up the monitor to see how it's installed. At least once you've reassembled it, you should be able to get the monitor to "stand up" properly.
