1. Activate sound notification in Zalo
To change the new message tone on Zalo for Android phones , first, you need to turn on sound notifications in Zalo by:
Step 1 : Access the Zalo application, create the main interface, click Add (the 4-square icon in the lower right corner)> Open Settings (the cog icon).
Step 2 : Click on Notifications > Here, you activate the items New Message Alert , Ring , Vibrate , Message Alert when opening the app to allow Zalo to notify when giving new messages.
2. Change the system tone
After turning on Zalo message notification, to change the notification sound, follow the basic instructions below:
Step 1 : Exit the Zalo app, then find and go to Settings on your phone > Select Sound and vibration > Here, click on the Notification sound .
Step 2 : At this point, you can change your preferences to Zalo's notification sound by clicking on the sound name as shown below.
3. Check again
To make sure that the Zalo message alert has been changed, check by using a different account or ask someone else to text your existing Zalo account.
Note : Setting to change the notification sound on Zalo will also change the message tone on your phone device .
