Where to find free PC games

Steam is a long-standing favorite of PC gamers and the first place to check for free games. The store has an entire section dedicated to free games (you'll find it under the Categories tab), which includes everything from MMORPGs like Star Wars: The Old Republic to fast-paced FPSes like The Finals.

You can even sort by genre to narrow down all your options. To find the latest free games, you’ll want to scroll down to Steam’s Trending Free tab, which compiles the hottest new releases and often includes a lot of great indie games.
