The title of "the longest straight stretch of road in the world" belongs to a nearly 240km long highway that cuts through the vast Rub-al-Khali desert in Saudi Arabia because it has no curves or turns.

This nearly 240km stretch of desert road is part of Highway 10, which connects Highway 75 in the Haradh region with Highway 95 in western Saudi Arabia. The road curves slightly just before the town of Al Batha after 240km of straight road without a single bend. According to Guinness World Records, it takes about 2 hours to drive this super straight road.

Originally built as a private road for King Fahd (King of Saudi Arabia from 1982 to 2005), the road was later recognized by Guinness World Records as the longest straight stretch of road in the world.
It is also known as the "most boring road in the world" due to its complete lack of curves, almost completely flat terrain, and lack of any notable scenery.

However, when driving on this road, drivers also encounter many difficulties such as easily getting disoriented due to the heat and continuous strong light in the desert and the lack of markers.
There are also not many gas stations on this isolated stretch of road, so drivers must bring enough water and monitor the fuel gauge carefully.
Previously, the title of the longest straight road in the world belonged to Australia's Eyre Highway with a length of more than 146km.
