Bill Gates told The Verge that the AI feature he uses the most is the meeting summary, which is built into Microsoft Teams, and he even interacts with it, such as asking questions about the meeting.
The tool the billionaire is referring to is Microsoft's Copilot , which integrates AI models in partnership with OpenAI and adds some specialized functionality to the Microsoft 365 office suite.

Copilot is described by Microsoft as helping users find and use information buried in documents, or forgotten in conversations, while leveraging the power of AI to get things done in new ways.
Using many Bill Gates pointed out the limitations of Copilot and general content summarization AI technology is that current techniques also do not create new approaches when faced with a problem that humans are not good at handling.
According to a Hubspot survey last year, AI is also commonly used by office workers in the US to summarize meetings, saving up to two hours a day on tasks such as meeting scheduling, note-taking and data entry.
In November 2023, Gates shared on the What Nows podcast that AI could help humans eliminate boring parts of work in the near future and help us only need to work three days a week.
Microsoft co-founder believes that thanks to AI, people will have more free time and can pay attention to many social issues, such as caring for the elderly.
Bill Gates: 'Humans can work only three days a week thanks to AI' (November 27, 2023)
Tech billionaire Bill Gates recently shared on Trevor Noah's What Nows podcast that AI will help humans significantly reduce labor time, but still create enough wealth for society.
Specifically, he said: "In the near future, artificial intelligence will help people increase productivity, which is interesting. AI can help people eliminate boring parts of work."
Overtime is a measure that many business owners are using to maximize the resources of their workers. However, according to the Microsoft co-founder, when AI can participate in many processes, this situation will be reduced and workers will no longer have to work as hard. He said that, "eventually, humans only need to work three days a week".
Bill Gates also believes that when people have more free time thanks to AI, we will care about many social issues, not just work.
Previously, Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan, also shared that thanks to the intervention of AI and technology, the next generation of workers only need to work about 3.5 days and live to 100 years old.
Even Elon Musk, a billionaire advocate of a workaholic culture, believes that human labor time will be significantly reduced with the help of AI. People may even not need to go to work or work only for personal enjoyment in the future.
Goldman Sachs also estimates that AI could replace about 300 million jobs worldwide in the coming years. Meanwhile, Arvind Krishna, CEO of IBM, believes that artificial intelligence will take over office, repetitive jobs first.
In early July, Suumit Shah, CEO of e-commerce company Dukkan, falsely announced that he would lay off nearly 90% of his customer service team (23 out of 26 employees) and replace them with a chatbot. He asserted that this was a difficult but necessary decision at the moment because chatbots are 100 times smarter, cost 1/100th as much, and are always ready to serve.
