The water resistance index (WR - Water Resistance) indicates the water resistance of the watch, and is measured under ideal laboratory conditions under water pressure at a certain depth (unit of measure). .
The waterproof index on the watch is always engraved on the back of the watch , helping the user to know the water resistance level of the product.
Currently, there are many units of measurement for water resistance, but the most common ones must include the following indicators:
WR : In some watchmakers, they use the WR symbol to represent the water resistance level of a meter with a measurement unit of meter.Vd: WR20 means that the watch is able to withstand water pressure at a depth of 20m
BAR : is commonly used in European countries. 1 BAR = 10m
ATM : is also a widely used unit for water resistance rating. 1 ATM = 1 BAR = 10m
The above measurement units use m, also does not mean that the watch with the upper gear will resist water at the correct depth.
Example: 3 BAR does not mean the watch will not be in water at a depth of 30m or more

Symbol-3 BAR: Avoid contact with water
3 BAR- 5 BAR: Resistant to normal water, can be used in case of washing hands or going to rain.
5 BAR- 10 BAR: can be used for swimming pool area
10 BAR- 20 BAR: can be used for swimming, bathing (not hot shower)
20 BAR- 30 BAR: can be used when participating in water sports.
30 BAR +: can use deep diving, saturated diving.
