Step 1: From the main interface of the Smallpdf homepage , click on Protect PDF (far right, second row).
Step 2: From here, you have a lot of ways to choose the PDF file you want to set a password, specifically:
Set a password for the PDF file on your computer
Find the location of the PDF file in your computer, left-click on the file and hold, drag it to the Drop PDF here area.
Click Choose file to open the Windows window, select the PDF file from your computer to use.
Set a password for the stored PDF file
Click on one of the online storage services integrated with Smallpdf on the right like Dropbox or Google Drive .
Step 3: Download.com.vn will select Dropbox and get the file previously saved on this service. The interface will appear as below, select the PDF file to use and then Choose .
Step 4: Enter the password in 2 blank frames (as shown below).
Enter the password and select Encrypt PDF
Step 5: Wait a bit to complete, then the file will be downloaded to your computer or saved directly to either online storage service.
For example, we will choose to save this password-protected PDF file to Google Drive.
The interface appears as below, click Save to save.

Click the multiplication sign (x) in the corner to cancel this operation

The PDF file has been saved on your Google Drive.
