Mascara Nabla Le Film Noir: review, opinions

Review, application and test of the new arrival at Nabla: the Le Film Noir mascara, which promises volume and length with a totally natural extrablack formula .

We have talked to you on several occasions about the young Italian cosmetic brand Nabla: a brand that produces natural cosmetics with glamorous colors and innovative formulas, just like the Nabla Solaris eyeshadows, which we have shown you up close, or the splendid Nabla liquid blushes, and also on the occasion of the launch of the new Liberty Twelve magnetic palette that allows you to create customized palettes with eyeshadow pods of your choice.

We like this brand very much for its young but serious concept and for the particular products, so today we are really happy to tell you about the new Nabla Le Film Noir mascara with a review.

NABLA MASCARA THE NOIR FILMS

Nabla Le Film Noir mascara is an interesting product because it is completely natural : its formula does not contain silicones, petrolatum, parabens, pegs, phthalates and edta. The inci, which will be reported below, is flawless and boasts beeswax and castor oil, for a strengthening and polishing result of the eyelashes.

The packaging is black and sober, rather simple but chic, the rubberized clutch bag supplied is also very practical to carry not only mascara but also other small make-up products in your handbag or on the go.

The brush is made of bristles , of the kind I prefer, and is a slightly conical shape, wider at the base and smaller at the tip. This ensures that even the smallest lashes can be captured by this brush.

The only cons of this applicator is that applying the product on the left eye for the less experienced could be a little more difficult, being mandatory the application with the opposite hand.

The formula of the product is quite liquid , the application is easy, although it is necessary to be careful not to risk staining. The lengthening effect is evident , while the volumizing effect on me is less noticeable than I hoped. My lashes are clear and thin, so they need 'extra' help and more coats of product to get a good result.

I generally apply this mascara no more than twice though, because I have noticed that the lashes tend to clump together, so although I find this mascara interesting, I reserve it for more natural looks.

Given the particular shape of the Nabla mascara applicator, I decided to compare it with two other mascara in my possession: Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash Extravagant, which is decidedly larger and with longer bristles, and Lancome Hypnose Star, whose brush it is smaller and flattened on the sides.

I hope this comparison can be useful for you to get an idea about the size and characteristics of this brush, in relation to two mascaras that you may have already tried or at least seen in perfumery.

 

 

 

INCI MASCARA NABLA AND CHARACTERISTICS

INGREDIENTS: aqua / water, glycerin, cera alba / beeswax, copernicia cerifera cera / copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax, alcohol denat., Hydrogenated palm kernel glycerides, candelilla cera / euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, potassium cetyl alcohol phosphate, arachidyl, hydrogenated palm glyceride, ricinus communis oil / ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, glyceryl stearate, behenyl alcohol, silica, polyethylene, benzyl alcohol, arachidyl glucoside, polyglyceryl-6 polyricinoleate, hydroxyethylcellulose, xanthan gum, tocopheryl acid hydroxide, sodium acetylate . [+/-: ci 77499 (iron oxide), ci 77007 (ultramarines)].

As already mentioned, this product does not contain silicones , petrolatum, parabens, pegs, phthalates, edta, it is also  Cruelty Free , suitable for Vegetarians, but not for Vegans as it contains beeswax. It is also Made in Italy , has a 6 month pao and contains 10 ml of product.

TRY MASCARA NABLA AND PERSONAL OPINIONS

In the following images you can see the result of Le Film Noir on my lashes: the effect is 'clean' , although on me I prefer more dramatic effects on more constructed eye looks.

I therefore reserve this product for more natural daytime looks , also because the glossy finish is put more emphasis on eyes not too made up combined with lips in stronger colors, as the fashion of the season wants .

In conclusion I find the Nabla Le Film Noir mascara a good product , especially for the 100% natural formulation and for the price of 12.50 , a really affordable figure.

The effect on the lashes is clearly visible and I think you can see it from the images I took for you. However, it must be taken into consideration that to obtain a super strong effect it is necessary to stratify the product a lot going to weight and stick the lashes, therefore I recommend it for cleaner looks and certainly for girls with longer and thicker lashes than mine, which I think they will do very well with this liquid and luminous formulation !
