Garena Free Fire's map design about Bermuda is quite creative with locations on the map based on many places in the world. Here are the real places in Bermuda in Free Fire .
In the Battle Royale genre, the map plays an important role. And with Free Fire is no exception. Bermuda, the first map in the game, is the best example of that. Bermuda in Free Fire has many different large locations based on real-life prototypes. In this article, let's analyze this map with WebTech360 to find out those real locations!
As the first map ever created, Bermuda is currently the most popular map in Free Fire. Due to the player count limit of only 50, Bermuda is actually smaller than most battle royale maps in other games.
Overall, Bermuda is an industrial island, with a dotted coastline and all kinds of factories, shipyards, and even a hangar. Residential areas are located in the middle of the island. Basically, this detail is much different from the tourist attraction island Purgatory. Bermuda has four main industrial sites: workshops, plantations, factories, and Mars Electric.
The main population centers in Bermuda of Free Fire are the Bimasakti strip, Cape Town, Pochinok and Katulistiwa. The architectural style in Bermuda towns mimics tropical buildings, with a lower number of floors to minimize storm damage.
Bermuda 2.0 adds 4 new locations: Nurek Dam, Aden's Creek, Academy and Samurai's Garden. Nurek Dam was probably added just for its looks. In fact, nowhere is there enough water for such an electricity-generating dam to exist.
Samurai's Garden is just another attempt by Garena to bring the Japanese art style to Free Fire. It makes no sense if a Japanese-style complex is located on that island. As for Academy, it's beautifully designed, with impressive landmarks and a symmetrical layout.
Bermuda is named after a British island. With a colorful and vibrant flora, Free Fire's Bermuda is probably located in a tropical climate, be it in the Pacific region, Southeast Asia or Latin America.
Since Free Fire was developed by Garena, a company based in Singapore, Bermuda was probably designed for the location they are familiar with. Therefore, the map mainly resembles some islands in Southeast Asia. Clock towers, observatories, and graveyards are the most out of place. They are the only buildings on the island that use Western architecture.
