Video: Fix Your System is Low on Memory on GameLoop
"Your system is low on memory. Close some applications and restart the game" is a common error on the Android GameLoop emulator.
If you are installing and playing games on this emulator, you're likely to encounter the "low memory error." In this article, we will explore how to effectively resolve this issue.
The "low memory" error can typically be attributed to the following:
Your version of GameLoop is outdated.
The applications you are trying to run are resource-intensive and exceed your system's current capabilities.
To resolve this, you should check the emulator version and update GameLoop to the latest version.
Fixing Low Memory Errors on GameLoop
Here are some practical solutions to resolve memory issues:
Steps
Description
1. Allocate More RAM for the Emulator
If you experience a lack of RAM on GameLoop, follow these steps:
From the main interface of the GameLoop emulator, click on the three dashes icon.
The main interface of GameLoop
Select Settings from the menu.
In the Settings Center window, click on Engine to access memory settings.
Select the Engine item in the Settings Center
Adjust the amount of RAM allocated to the emulator and select Save.
Adjust the Memory and then Save again
Attention: Restart GameLoop for the changes to take effect.
2. Increase Virtual Memory on Your Computer
This method is applicable for all virtual machines and simulators. Here's how:
Open the Control Panel.
Open the Control Panel window on the computer
Click on System.
Click on System
Select Advanced system settings.
Select Advanced system settings
Click Advanced and then Settings....
Click on Advanced / Settings
In the Performance Options dialog, select the Advanced tab and click on Change....
Uncheck Automatically manage paging file size for all drives.
Choose the drive that contains your operating system (usually C:).
Select the drive containing the operating system
Enable Custom size and fill in the Initial size (MB) and Maximum size (MB) for RAM.
Make adjustments in Custom size
Click OK to save your settings and then restart your computer.
Conclusion
By following the above steps, you can effectively mitigate the "low memory" error in GameLoop, enhancing your gaming experience. Ensure you also keep your software up to date to prevent similar issues in the future.
