Step 1: Disconnect power from the outlet and empty the water tank
The first step is to unplug it from the outlet and leave the iron before cleaning. Then, you remove the steam pipe, clothes hanger, tank and empty the tank.
Step 2: Rinse the container with vinegar for 5 minutes
Place the container in the steamer, then mix the vinegar with equal proportions of water and fill the water tank to about of the storage capacity. Then, start the machine and turn on the steam setting on low, let the iron run for 5 minutes
Step 3: Unplug the power and let the iron cool for 1 hour
After letting your iron run for 5 minutes in steam mode, turn it off, unplug it and let it cool for 1 hour
Step 4: Rinse with clean water
After it has cooled for 1 hour, fill a container with clean water to rinse off the white vinegar and discard the water. Repeat this for 2 times.
Step 5: Rinse the steam pipe
Place the steam inlet of your steamer in the wash basin. Then, you pour water into one end of the pipe and pour it out. Keep components drained, then reassemble and store in a dry place.
