The iPhone photo library categorizes media file types, such as screenshots. iOS 18 has a filter that displays images so you can choose to only show that type of image in the library. Instead of having to find and view each screenshot, we can view iPhone screenshots in one place. This article will guide you to view only iPhone screenshots.
Use filter to view only iPhone screenshots
Step 1:
You open the photo library on iPhone then drag the entire photo library down . Now on the left side of the interface displays a 2- headed arrow icon as shown.
Step 2:
Tap Filter in the list that appears, then select Screenshots to view only screenshots in your iPhone photo library.
The result you will see the screenshot on iPhone as below. Other images or videos will be hidden.
Access iPhone Screenshots album
All screenshots on iPhone are saved in a separate album for users to easily view and track when needed.
In the photo library interface on iPhone, scroll down to the Media Type section , click Screenshot to view iPhone screenshots in one place. Now we will see all screenshots on iPhone.
With iOS 17, go to the Albums tab then scroll down to find the Screenshots folder.
For iPad, tap the sidebar icon in the upper left corner and select Screenshot . This feature works on both iPadOS 18 and older versions of iPadOS.
Add screenshot album to quick view
iOS 18 has a lot of customization for the photo library. When you access it, you will see at the top about 25 recent photos and videos. You can swipe left or right to see Highlights, Memories, Favorites, and Videos. We will change it again to add screenshots to the quick view.
Step 1:
You drag the photo interface down to the bottom and click the Customize button . Next, you click the plus icon to add or click Replace to replace a certain album.
Step 2:
Scroll down to the Media Type section and click on Screenshots . Then we will see the screenshot album has been added to the quick view.
Back to the photo library interface, you swipe right or left and you will see the Screenshots album for quick access.
