ZZZ 1.1 brings a series of new tweaks and additions to gamers. The new character, QingYi - the newly released character will improve the quality of experience for Combo Attacks and other elements in the game. Combined with the Inferno Reap mode, it will help you have fierce combat experiences. Below are the details of the Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 update.
Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 Update Details
New Mission
After completing the Special Episode storyline mission "Undercover R&B", players may receive some notifications about this mission when leveling up Inter-Knot.
Some quests now have additional ending content, after completing the quest you can meet the Characters in the city again to learn about what happened after the quest ended.
New content:
- More Agent Avatars: Unlock by collecting the corresponding Agents.
- Add Agent Mindscape Cinema Name Tag: Obtained by activating the respective Agent's Mindscape Cinema 3/6 times.
- Added Live Wallpapers: Live wallpapers will be updated for agents Qingyi, Jane, and/or Seth, and increasing their Trust level will unlock animations corresponding to each agent.
- Added Activation Mode for [Combo]: Auto and Manual Mode. Can be changed in the setting menu.
- On mobile devices when using touch layout, go to [Options > Input > Button position settings] and adjust the size and position within the provided parameters.
- Add Selfie Mode: You can switch to selfie perspective when needed.
- More Selfie Poses: In Selfie Mode, you can choose from preset poses to take photos.
- Add Filters: Providing various filters, Proxies can choose the filter that suits their preferences.
- Added Drive Disc recommendations for each Agent based on usage rate (Data pulled from recently active players).
- Added recommended key stats for each Agent's Drive Disc based on usage rate (Data taken from recent active players).
- Add Teleporter to HDD in "Random Play" mode.
- Add "Logistics Store" Teleporter to "Scott Outpost."
- Added New Eridu Public Security area and related Teleporter.
- Added Achievements (including hidden achievements) to A Ridu's Journey, Proxy Business, Agent Trust event, Agent Story, Special Episode, Hollow Zero, Shiyu Defense, and Hollow Exploration Guide.
- Some stores at "Sixth Street" and "Lumina Square" have added in-store dialogue.
- Added some new NPCs to the "NEPS Lumina Branch" area.
- Added random street encounter dialogue at "NEPS Lumina Branch."
- Added random street encounters to "Lumina Square," "HIA Club," and other areas.
- Added a filter function to the Agent screen, allowing you to filter Agents by specialty.
- Add "Rampant Brute" to "Expert Challenge"
- Added Challenge Objective to [Battle Details > Mission] in the "Routine Cleanup" detail screen.
- Add "go to next stage" function to Stage Challenge Results screen
- Audition "The Final Callback." Using this function, Proxies can directly experience the next Agent Audition Stage.
- Add your friend's Chat portal to the right of Personal Info in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Added Get All button to New Eridu City Fund Level rewards screen. The function of getting single rewards has also been optimized.
- In [Options > Others], add a setting [Quickly Use Bangboo Plug-Ins on Panel]. Bangboo Plug-Ins can switch between two different modes: "hold down Plug-In to use immediately, click/tap to open Plug-In panel" OR "Click/tap to use Plug-In immediately, hold down to open Plug-In panel."
- In [Options > Other], add the setting "Remember Board Acceleration State." Once enabled, your selected acceleration state will be preserved for future Quests.
Protect Shiyu:
Added a permanent open button: "Contest Button." There are eight defense lines at the "Contest Button." There is no time limit for this challenge. You will receive two "Ether Dew Drops" (these will automatically restore HP to the Agent when defeated).
Your rank will be determined by the total number of Agents defeated. Unlock Requirements: Complete Chapter 2 Part 2 between "The Impossible Mission" and Stable Node: Fifth Line to unlock.
After the Version 1.1 update is complete, the reset time for "Important Node" in "Shiyu Protection" will be changed to 04:00 (server time) on the 1st and 16th of each month.
The buffs of "Important Node" are updated as follows:
- Phase I: Stun from [Basic Attack] increased by 15%. Damage from [Combo] increased by 100%. Agent deals 50% more damage to stunned enemies.
- Phase II: When the enemy is stunned, all team members gain 2 stacks of [Passion], and when Attribute Anomaly is activated, all team members gain 1 stack of [Passion]. [Passion] lasts 20 seconds and stacks up to 3 times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. Each stack of [Passion] increases the Agent's ATK by 10% and increases Attribute Anomaly by 10 points.
- Phase III: Increases Agent's ATK by 20% and Attribute Abnormal damage by 30%.
Adjust & Optimize
Agent:
- Optimized the animation of Agent "Piper" transitioning from walking to running after activating certain skills.
- Optimized the special effect of Agent "Nekomata"'s blade in [Basic Attack: Crimson Blade].
- Fixed display issue of "Mindscape Cinema" for Agent "Soldier 11."
- Fixed text description and word order errors for Agent "Ellen's" [EX Special Attack] (This is only a text fix and does not affect the actual skill effect).
- Optimized the display of buff icons for different "Vortex" states of Agent "Soukaku."
- Optimized the display of buff icons for different "Electric" classes of Agent "Grace."
Optimized text descriptions for some skills (This is just a text fix and does not affect actual gameplay):
- 1) ATK and DEF in some skill descriptions are changed to "initial ATK" and "initial DEF."
- 2) "Increase ATK by 10%" in the text description of the 2-piece Drive Disc has been adjusted to "ATK +10%."
Enemy:
- Optimized the visual display of Stun DMG Multiplier information for some enemies.
- Optimized UI design and display for some elite enemies.
- Fixed the background color of "Hornet" Ether Mutants in "Phaethon's Database."
System:
- Adjust the access of the Mail function . You will be able to directly access your mails using the button to the right of [Options] at the bottom of the main interface.
- Optimized user experience for Inter-Knot notifications, DMs and camera functionality.
- After completing using these functions, players will be able to move faster than before.
- Optimized Agent Upgrade Experience: Players will be able to jump directly into the corresponding gameplay from the raw material item detail interface. Then, on the challenge result screen, players will be able to directly return to the Agent Upgrade screen by using the "Back to Upgrade" button.
Gameplay:
- In Hollow Zero, the number of Special Missions to complete in Bounty Commissions each week will be reduced from 5 to 2, and the number of Bounty Hunter Missions will be reduced from 4 to 2. This adjustment will take effect on the first Monday at 04:00 (server time) after the completion of the Version 1.1 update.
- Increased the number of Bangboo System Widgets and Whitestar Rest Area Z-Merits that can be obtained in a single reward in Hollow Zero. The weekly limit will not change. This adjustment will take effect after the Version 1.1 update is complete.
- Optimized the logic of calling support in "Hollow Zero." When you don't need support, the Agent won't join the team, and you can choose their support items yourself.
- Optimized the description of the challenge to advance to the next floor in "Hollow Zero."
- Optimized the description of The Hollows Bank event in "Hollow Zero."
- Optimized the logic of displaying different area unlock request descriptions in "Hollow Zero."
- Optimized enemy display animation in "Hollow Zero" gate.
- Optimized the description of related enemies in the Main Enemy Information in "Hollow Zero," adding gameplay details.
- Optimized the visual display of enemy attribute weaknesses and resistances in "Shiyu Defense."
- Optimized the logic of the timer in data recovery gameplay. Only the time during data recovery will be recorded.
- Adjusted special combat effects for some enemies in "Expert Challenge."
- Added enemy wave number and enemy description to Enemy Details in "Shiyu Defense."
- Added enemy resistance information to the enemy detail screen in "Notorious Hunt" and "Expert Challenge"
- The description of the "Restart" button on the "Notorious Hunt" Challenge Results screen has been changed to "Let's play again!"
Mouse & Keyboard and Controller Optimization:
- Added controller vibration effects to interactions in certain areas, when receiving Rank A Signals via Signal Search, and when activating Agent Mindscapes.
- Optimized controller instructions for searching for materials when lacking upgrade materials for Agents, W-Engines, and Drive Discs respectively.
- Add button prompt to call the shortcut wheel menu in Controller Mode.
- Optimized the experience of receiving rewards of "New Eridu City Fund" in Controller Mode.
- Adjust the Exclusive Outfit toggle on/off button on the Agent Device screen while in controller mode.
- Added functionality to allow players to select certain options using the number keys in Keyboard & Mouse Mode.
- Added multiple ways to activate the Hotkey Wheel in Keyboard & Mouse Mode: Players can go to [Options > Input] and choose to hold down, drag and drop to activate, or click to activate.
- In Keyboard & Mouse Mode (press, hold, drag and drop) and Controller Mode, add a pointer prompt to show the highlighted function.
- In Keyboard & Mouse Mode and on mobile devices when using the touch layout, adds a call-up progress bar to the "Shortcut Wheel." Holding down one of the corresponding buttons on the "Shortcut Wheel" will display the call-up progress bar.
Other:
- Fixed a bug on some mobile devices that caused lag during combat.
- Optimized the layout around NPC "Casper" in "Scott Outpost." Teleports for some materials and upgrade items have been added.
- Fixed bug requiring completion of some Achievements (This is just a text fix).
- Reduced the flicker intensity of some special effects.
- Speed up some "Monitor Array" animations and transition time from HDD Mission to Story content.
- Optimized information display on the New Eridu City Fund screen.
- Optimized the display of information on the "Inter-Knot Member" screen.
- Optimized visual display when receiving W-Engines: When receiving a B-rank W-Engine that is already owned, the "NEW!" icon will no longer appear.
- Optimized visual reminder when receiving a new Drive Disc: The "NEW!" icon in the upper right corner of a newly received Drive Disc will disappear the next day at 04:00 (server time) after logging out and logging back in.
- Optimized the completion speed of resource integrity checks in certain cases.
- Optimized external volume for some Android devices when playing games.
- Optimized the combat sound effects of "Nineveh."
- Optimized English, Japanese and Korean dubbing for some parts of the story.
- Changed English voice actors for Agents "Lucy" and "Soukaku," and replaced corresponding lines.
- Optimized 3D models of some NPCs.
- Optimize task reminders for "Spend the day my way."
