Apple Notes is Apple's note-taking app that helps you save things to note, or save call recordings on iOS 18. However, unlocking your phone and then finding the note-taking app to write a new note is quite time-consuming. Therefore, there are many simpler ways for you to quickly write notes on your iPhone according to the instructions below.
The simplest way is to call Siri to open a new note on your iPhone to write, instead of accessing it manually. You should clearly say the command to open a new note, or the command to write a new note so that Siri can execute the command faster and more accurately.
You press and hold on the lock screen then select Customize then tap on Lock screen to edit.
Now you will delete the flashlight or camera iOS 18 lock screen and replace it with Apps , then select Notes to add on the lock screen.
3. Add iPhone lock screen notes widget
Step 1:
You open the Shortcuts application and select the plus icon to add a new shortcut. Then we enter the note keyword and click Create note . Next, click Folder to find the folder you want to save the note to.
Step 2:
Open lock screen customization , select Shortcuts , then bring the shortcut to the lock screen . Now click Shortcuts to add the newly created Create Note shortcut .
Then you just need to press the shortcut on the lock screen to write a note from the lock screen.
4. Tap on the iPad lock screen with Apple Pencil
Just tap the iPad lock screen with Apple Pencil to write your notes.
5. Use keyboard shortcuts on iPhone
Press the globe icon + Q key combination on the iPad keyboard to create a quick note.
6. Swipe from the corner of the iPad to write a quick note
Another way to create a quick note on iPad is to swipe diagonally from the bottom-right corner of the screen with your finger or Apple Pencil.
On the iPhone interface, we click on Settings . Then switch to the new interface, the user clicks on Control Center .
Step 2:
Switch to the new interface, here you will see the items to display in the Control Center. You scroll down below at the More Controls section and then tap the blue plus icon at the Quick Notes section .
Step 3:
You will now see the Quick Notes item displayed in the included Controls. We can change the order of the Quick Notes by holding down and moving the display position.
Step 4:
Next, swipe up the Control Center on your iPhone and tap the Quick Notes icon as shown below.
Step 5:
The quick note interface on iPhone is now displayed. Now you just need to write a note on the interface as shown below and then click the Save button to save the quick note on iPhone. The note will be saved immediately to the Notes application as usual.
In addition to taking quick notes on iPhone with the steps below, you can also add other icons to the iPhone Control Center.
8. Add notes to the Dock on iPhone
If you have multiple home screen pages, you should add the Notes app to the bottom dock to display on all iPhone Home screen pages.

Another way to quickly write new notes or access existing notes is to add the Notes widget to your iPhone Home screen.

You open Spotlight on iPhone then type the keyword note and will see the new note writing action to choose.
11. Write a new note from the Notes app icon
Tap and hold the Notes icon on the screen and select New Note to write a quick note.
12. Use the share sheet
For example, if you want to save something from another app to Notes, you can use the share sheet to select the Notes app.
To save a web page to Notes , click on the share icon and select the Notes app . You will then see the note writing interface.
If you want to save something, highlight the content and select Quick Note to write a new note.
