How to change vibration on Android device
By default, your phone is set to vibrate when interacting or receiving a notification. But if the vibration level of the device is too light or too strong, Android always allows you to customize the vibration of the device. In the article below, Quantrimang will guide you how to do that.
How to adjust vibration on pure Android devices
Go to the Settings menu of your Android phone or tablet from the apps page or tap the settings icon on the notifications page.
Scroll down and select the Accessibility menu .
Under Interaction Controls at the bottom of the page, select Vibration and Haptics (or Vibration and Haptic Strength ).
Here you can adjust the touch level and vibration intensity when you receive an incoming call or notification.
You can choose from three levels of vibration or turn it off completely.
On some devices, like the Google Pixel, you can adjust the vibration level via a slider.
How to adjust vibration on Samsung Galaxy phone
If you own a Samsung Android device, you won't find this option in the Accessibility menu .
To access it, open the Settings app and go to Sounds And Vibration > Vibration Intensity .
Drag the slider to adjust the vibration of incoming calls, notifications, touch operations.
You will see the vibration adjustment customization like the two methods above if your device is running Android 10 or later.
However, all Android phone manufacturers have different versions of the settings, so the option to adjust vibration will be placed in different places. So if you can't find it, type Vibration in the search bar at the top of the Settings app page .
