To enhance security and reduce the risk of being tracked via WiFi address, iOS 18 has just added a feature to change the WiFi address on iOS 18, rotating the WiFi address. When users activate this feature, the WiFi address will be changed at different times. So instead of displaying 1 WiFi address, with this new feature, the address will be changed continuously. Here is how to enable the WiFi address change feature on iOS 18.
Instructions to change WiFi address on iOS 18
Step 1:
We access Settings on the phone and then click on WiFi to proceed with the adjustment.
Step 2:
In this interface, you find the WiFi you are connected to and then click on the i icon as shown below. Displays the settings for the WiFi you are connecting to on your iPhone. We scroll down and activate the option Rotate WiFi address .
Thus the WiFi address will be rotated at different times.
In addition to the connected WiFi, the saved WiFi in the list also has the option to change.
You continue to change the WiFi address with other networks that the iPhone can connect to, with the above operations.
