How to import notes from photos in iPhone
Notes on iOS 18 have the option to import notes from photos, scan text to insert into the content, besides the option to scan documents into PDF in iPhone notes . The text scanning option will confirm the content in the document and then convert it into text to insert into the note content. This helps you quickly enter content into notes on iPhone. Here are instructions for converting photos to text in notes on iPhone.
Instructions for importing note content from photos in iPhone
Step 1:
We open the notes app on the iPhone, then select the note you want to scan text. Tap the stapler icon and select Scan text to use.
Step 2:
Display the camera so you can scan the text you want to enter into the note. You bring the image you want to scan to the camera to recognize the content. As soon as you move the camera to the text area , the content is entered into the note as shown.
Step 3:
You can move the camera to the area of content you want to enter into the note and then tap the Live Text icon to select the area of content to enter the note from the image.
Step 4:
Finally, you press Insert to save the note content from the image and hide the document scanning interface in the note on iPhone. The content imported into the note from the image can be customized further if you need.
