How to turn off showing images in iPhone Spotlight search
When you search for something in the iPhone Spotlight search bar, the images in the album will also be displayed, if they match the keywords you entered. However, the image display settings in iPhone Spotlight sometimes affect your privacy, especially when you lend your phone to others. If so, you should turn off the display of images in iPhone Spotlight search, according to the instructions below.
Instructions to turn off showing images in iPhone Spotlight search
When you search for a keyword in the Spotlight search bar , if it matches an image in the album, a suggested image will appear as shown below. If the image appears in multiple applications, you can view it in each section for each application, including the Photos application.
Step 1:
We access Settings on iPhone then click on Photos below to adjust.
Step 2:
Continuing in the new interface, users tap on Siri & Search to adjust the search content in Photos. In the new interface, the While Search item will display the search settings in the Photos application.
Now you need to turn off Search display content , by sliding the white circle button to the left.
Go back to the image interface and open Spotlight search. You type in the keyword and you won't see the photos from the album show up.
In case the photo is saved from another app, such as the Files app, it will still show up in the Spotlight search bar.
