Step 1: Download PhotoScape by the download link above to your computer, then double-click the installation file. The installation window appears that allows you to change the settings before starting the installation of PhotoScape by clicking Options. If you do not want to change anything, click I Agree - install to install it.

Step 2: In the Options tab, you can customize the folder containing the installation file by clicking the Browse ... button instead of saving the installation file at the path that the manufacturer defaulted to. After that, there might be options:

  • Create program group: Create new program groups.
  • Create shortcut on desktop: Create a shortcut on the desktop.
  • Add shortcut to quick launch: Create shortcut for quick launch .

After setting the options, click the I Agree - install button to agree to install PhotoScape.

Step 3: The next window appears if you do not want to install the Google Toolbar on Internet Explorer , uncheck the Install the free Google Tolbar box with PhotoScape . Then click Next to move to the next step.

Step 4: The process of installing PhotoScape is relatively simple, you just need to Next ... Next follow the instructions to complete the installation, so we do not specifically guide but move on to the manual section. Use PhotoScape.

Instructions for editing photos with PhotoScape:

Step 1: Open PhotoScape , the horizontal menu bar will provide you with some of the following functions:

  • Viewer: Allows you to view images.
  • Editor: Edit photos.
  • Batch Editor: Batch edit photos.
  • Page: Combine photos.
  • Combine: Merge photos together.
  • Animated Gif: Create animations.
  • Print: Print the image.
  • Help: Help.

Here, we will introduce you to the Photo Editor editing tool . Click on Editor and navigate to the image that you want to edit to open it.

Step 2: In Editor function, there will be 4 tabs: Home, Object, Crop and Tool. We will introduce you one by one. First press the Home tab will see the following options appear:

(1): Create a photo frame for the image, with the following options:

  • Round: Rounded the corner of the image.
  • Margin: Create distance from the image to the margins.
  • Frame Line: Create a frame for the image in a straight line.

(2): Change the color for pictures:

  • Create Sepia for pictures.
  • Create black and white for photos.
  • Create a white shape.
  • Create any monochrome one color.
  • Create negative colors.

(3): Rotate the image left, right, up, down.

(4): Bright, Color: Customize the brightness and color for the image, after the change is complete, click OK to save.

Resize: Edit the image size, enter the image size in the Width and Height boxes and then click OK to save.

Step 3: Continue to move to the right options:

  • Auto Level: Automatically balances image quality.
  • Sharpen: Make the image sharper.
  • Film Effect: Adjust the effect of the image.
  • Filter: Filter the image.
  • Bloom: Creating a sparkle.
  • Backlight: Customize the background brightness of the image.

Step 4: Next move to the Object tab , there will be some of the following tools for you to choose:

  • (1): Insert picture, icon into image to be edited.
  • (2): Select the sample icons to add to the image to edit.
  • (3): Text editor frame on the picture.
  • (4): Enter a text for the picture.
  • (5): Draw lines, squares, stars ....

Step 5: If you want to cut a certain area, you need to hover over the area you want to cut, then click on the Crop tab . Here, you can choose to cut by:

  • Click the down arrow in Crop Fleely to select the crop rate.
  • Change the mode of crop to circle then check the Crop Round Image box.

Step 6: Switch to the Tools tab and you will see options like Photoshop :

  • Red Eye Correction: Removes red eye effect.
  • Mole Removal: Create smooth areas to remove acne, freckles, bruises on the face.
  • Mosaic: Face mask effect.
