By default, the program only records deleted files with special extensions (EXE, DLL, TMP, PDF ...). You can add new extensions to your monitoring list by going to the Monitoring tab and choosing File Extensions. Here it is possible to add the extensions you are interested in and remove everything else. If you want to record everything then select "Monitor All File Extensions" and the program will immediately report all deleted files. Since Windows programs create a lot of temporary files during operation, you can quickly delete temporary files before they flood your system.

You can set the program to ignore files larger than a given size and files smaller than the minimum required size. There is also a stealth mode, you can hide the program's icon from the system tray to keep track of deleted files without warning the user.

One of the most handy feature is the ability to copy files to a backup folder before deleting. This option can be activated by going to the “Copy Low-Level File Deletions” box to install.
