Messenger has just updated the feature to turn off Messenger views for only 1 person instead of turning off Messenger views for all conversations like before. The mechanism of turning off Messenger views for only 1 person is similar to that of all conversations, the other person will not know whether you have read the Messenger message or not. Step 1:
At the interface on the Messenger application, click on the Messenger account you want to turn off viewed with them.

Switch to the Messenger chat interface with that account. Here, users click on the i icon in the top right corner of the interface. Display options for this conversation. Scroll down and you will see that the Read Receipt setting is on.
Step 3:
Switch to the new interface. Now we need to turn off the Show read receipt mode by sliding the green circle button to the left to turn off the mode and you're done.
This way the other person will not know whether you have read the Messenger message or not. But you need to note that when you turn off Viewed Messenger with a person, you will not know whether they have read your message or not.

Now the user will see all the settings for your Messenger account. The user scrolls down and clicks on Privacy & Safety . Continue to switch to the new interface, you will see the Read Receipts option to adjust the message viewing mode on Messenger.

In this interface, users will see the setting Show read notifications . You just need to slide the green circle button to the left to turn off read on Messenger .
After you activate this feature, reading Messenger messages will not display notifications for the other person to know. But you also need to note that when you turn off "Read Messenger", you will not know when the other person has read the message.
There is a small trick for you to view Messenger messages without displaying the read notification. That is to hold down on the message conversation in the Messenger chat interface. Then you will see the message content without having to open that conversation.
However, this method will only apply to short message content.
When the device is turned on Airplane Mode, all Internet access will be paused. Therefore, when we receive a Messenger message, let's activate Airplane Mode first. This way, the application will not be able to connect to the server to activate Read mode when you read the message. And when we finish reading the message, we just need to exit the application and turn off Airplane mode.
