6 customizations that anyone new to Samsung should know
Samsung often equips users with a lot of customization, options as well as useful features . Many are good, but the problem is that often will be difficult for novices. Here are 6 basic customizations that surely anyone new to Samsung phones is wondering.
1 - Turn off the water sound effect when touching the screen
Bloop. Bloop. Bloop ... Nature-inspired sound that comes out every time you touch and screen. To turn it off, go to Settings> Sound> Touch sounds and uncheck this option.
2 - Whistling whisper
Samsung defaults to a very soft whistle and whisper, like a sound from a distance. For those who are new to using it for the first time, there will be a bit of confusion. To change this sound, you need to go to Settings> Sound> Notifications and choose other sounds you like more.
3 - Double-click the Home key out S Voice
The default on Samsung phones is that when you double-tap the Home key, the S Voice software is activated. However, in Vietnam, not everyone likes and uses this software. If you want to turn it off, go to S Voice software -> press Menu -> Settings -> uncheck Open via the home key.
4 - Turn off the screen of My Magazine
My Magazine is enabled by Samsung by default and is an extra screen on Samsung phones. If you don't like it appearing, you can do the following to turn it off: Long press on empty space on home screen -> Select Home screen settings -> uncheck My Magazine.
5 - Remove shutdown sound
Just like the sound in parts 1 and 2, you can also go Samsung's default shutdown sound. By going to: Settings -> Sound -> and unchecking Screen lock sound.
6 - Remove unwanted items from the Gallery
By default, the Samsung phone's Gallery in addition to the image, also integrates a lot of data from other sources such as Dropbox , Facebook or Picasa. This integration makes Gallery very confusing, to fine-tune the content you can do the following: In the Gallery software -> go to menu -> select Content to display and select the parts you want to remove.
